happy new year! i'm not one to make resolutions in the sense that if i don't do them, i feel super guilty, but rather little goals for the year that, while important, aren't guilt makers. my goals for this year are to learn how to study for nursing school efficiently, meet new people, complete a cna course and find a job, decorate the "she cave" in the coolest of ways, and visit various cities around my new home (kettering, oh).
decorating the she cave is going to be my favorite; the sister and i have many ideas that will make our new studio homey and steezy all at the same time. our first decorating idea is to not use any floor lamps or overhead lights, but use white christmas lights instead. i love the look of the white christmas lights any time of the year, and finding different ways to decorate with them is going to be fun. pictures will follow as the decorating commences...
here's to a great 2012! a year of big changes, moving, getting closer to my goal of becoming a nurse, meeting new people, traveling, and the olympics!
let's also hope this year passes quickly...i'm not a big fan of years in even numbers...
