the roomies and i had a star wars marathon today! we went chronologically by date because, well, it's better that way. han solo reaffirmed my love for him many, many times today.
to go along with the amazingness that is this series, we had some pizza, breadsticks, diet pepsi (even though I hate pepsi and prefer diet coke to it any day), some cake, and homemade pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, made by yours truly. they're kind of my specialty.
i got the recipe from my mom who got it from a friend at work last autumn, and i made them probably three or four times last season, and plan to make even more this go 'round. on this first day of october, I found them to be appropriate. even if it was 90 degrees outside today...oh the pitfalls of living in southern california.
i think they turned out pretty darn good, if i do say so myself. i got the approval of the roomies and our friends.
now back to the marathon!
