lullaby

i can't sleep again. surprise surprise. as i sit here i'm listening to josh groban. the amazing voice that is josh groban. and i'm taking a trip down memory lane.

freshman year in college. my roommate was in the choir and had an obsession with this man. i had listened to him a handful of times before, but nothing to the extent that she did. i remember falling asleep to his soothing voice. it reminds me of sabbath nights, after my bible study, winding down from the hectic week days, and preparing for the sabbath. 

josh will always be attributed with sabbath for me. obviously it is appropriate, with it being sabbath and all. time to wind down, prepare, and just, be. how i long for the day when it's sabbath everyday...counting down and enjoying the ones i get in the process.
