it ends tonight

tonight i went to my last giants baseball game of the 2011 season. super bittersweet!

bitterweet in that while it was my last game (not the giants last game), they beat the dodgers. those blasted dodgers. and not only beat, but pretty much owned them.

their starter had nothing on ryan vogelsong. actually, he didn't until the 5th, but that's beside the point.

and the biggest story? the young guns killed it! see what happens when you play brett pill and justin christian, and not orlando cabrera and aubrey huff? we win games! oh the concept...

someone needs to just give me my manager's jersey already because i've called the moves they've needed to make since the all-star break. i just have no one important to tell these things to.

again, all that is beside the point. i had an awesome time at dodger stadium, which definitely makes up for the last visit i made there where i was heckled and booed at, simply because i was raised to like the right team. but tonight was good. the fans were great. beside the dodgers fans i went with. ha, just kidding.

the fresnans reunited for a great end to a not-so-great season. i still believe, i do. it just is going to take a miracle beyond miracles to see giants ball in october.

but stranger things have happened.

the best time tonight was seeing my man close. brian wilson has my heart. i love that man.

is it possible to love someone you don't know?

no one can tell, but i'm going to say that it is. ha. but in all seriousness, i'm so happy that i finally got to see him close. i went to more games this season than any other season and it took the last game i go to to finally see him.

it was totally worth it.

he owns the 9th inning. lights out, goodnight dodgers, got heeeeeeeeeeeem!

man I have missed this man...
